Homeschool Policy Updates 2018

UPDATE

Centerline is offering 4 classes. Not one or two.

That said, you are still limited to 1 or 2 classes of each CATEGORY per student.

Yes they still have the restriction on private lessons. This will not effect Kinvert but will effect others such as music classes.

Anyway below is what I originally wrote. Wanted to make sure to update this with the newest information.

Hello,

So you probably heard the news, and you’re scrambling to pick up the pieces of what was an amazing schedule for your kids.

We are working hard to get our new schedule out shortly. We plan to have it available by Wednesday.

There are some options to make this state wide change go smoother for you.

If you have any questions at all, please head to our Contact Page.

We are here to help. You can still get 5 classes funded. You still have time to fix your kids schedules.

Send me a message through the Contact Page and I’ll get back as quick as I can to help you rebuild your education.

Rough Schedule:

  • Mondays – Clarkston – 10-11 – Choose one of 3D Printing, Robotics, Coding (main courses)
  • Mondays – Clarkston – 11-12 – Minecraft
  • Tuesdays – Royal Oak – 10-5 – is the time we have available. Expect our main courses plus maybe a new surprise.
  • Thursdays – Centerline – 10-3 – Obviously with the news this might change. Our main courses will likely be available
  • Thursdays – Lake Orion – 5:30-6:30 – Minecraft or main courses
  • Thursdays – Lake Orion – 6:30-7:30 – Minecraft or main courses

If you have a lot of people looking for a class in a certain place and time please contact me.

Again, we can help fix your schedule. Please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns due to this big change in Michigan homeschooling.

Thanks!

Keith
